The scope of this Privacy policy

This Privacy policy applies in the following circumstances:

  1. when you visit the website hosted at www.rosebankindustries.com (the "website");
  2. when you contact us by email or telephone using the contact details we make available on the website;
  3. when you submit information to us using an online form contained on the website; or
  4. if you are a Rosebank shareholder or business contact.

The Information we collect about you

1. Visitors to our website

We will keep our copy of your personal data held for this purpose until the discussion of the subject matter of your enquiry has come to an end and we no longer need to comply with a legal obligation that requires us to retain this personal data. We will delete our copy of this personal data 24 months from the end of our discussions with you although we may retain a record of the existence of the enquiry, to the extent and for so long as we are required to do so by law.

3. Shareholders

If you are a shareholder, we process your name and contact details (including address), the number of shares you hold, details of the votes you cast and your shareholder reference number. We use your personal information to manage your shareholding, to enable you to exercise your shareholder rights, to keep our shareholder register up to date and to contact you. We obtain this information either from you or our appointed Registrar, Equiniti Limited, and share this information with Equiniti Limited. We process this information on the basis of complying with a legal obligation, and our legitimate interests in managing our relationship with you or managing your shareholding.

4. Other business contacts

If you work for an organisation that we do business with or receive services from, we will process your name, details about your employer, your job title and contact details. We obtain this information either from you, from your employer or from publicly available sources such as your organisation's website. We will use this information on the basis of legitimate interests in managing our business relationships. We will keep this information for 24 months since our last contact with you.

5. Visitors to our offices

If you visit our offices, we will use information relating to you that you give us or we otherwise obtain when you visit us (for example, if you sign in or are recorded on CCTV while visiting us, or you give us the registration details of your vehicle). We process this information on the basis of our legitimate interests in keeping our offices secure. We keep this information for no longer than the policy of the building manager.

6. Disclosures of your personal data

  • We will share your personal data with certain third parties. If you are contacting us in respect of media relations, your personal data will be passed to our external media relations adviser to use for the purpose of dealing with your enquiry.
